Dearest Benefactors/Batch mates,

On behalf of the family of our deceased batch mate, Beata “Beth” Barredo,  I thank you for the generous support you’ve extended.  As you all know, when Beth’s case was brought to my attention and subsequently to the entire HAUBATCH’71 USA, Beth was still battling the dreaded disease that inflicted her.  Deep in our hearts, we felt the pain and HAUBATCH’71 USA responded to the call and many of us became benefactors.  During the three (3) weeks period after my conversation with Beth, her health rapidly deteriorated and she subsequently succumbed to the pain and happily joined her Creator.  It was probably best for Beth to take the journey to the next level of life where she can be pain-free, forever happy, and celebrate with the rest of our departed batch mates rather than battle the pains associated with her disease.

The donations remitted to Remy and myself where expedited to Beth via our batch mate, Sabrina “Bing” De Jesus, but the timing was not on our side, and Beth was already taken and prepared for memorial and viewing.   I am positive, Beth was very appreciative of our gesture to help her.  Bing, gave the intended donations to her sister who cared for her during and after her battle with cancer.   Our donations were used to give Beth a decent memorial and a proper place here on earth where her family and friends can gather and visit her.

Our deceased sister, friend and batch mate, Beata “Beth” Barredo was laid to rest with love last Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Holy Mary Memorial Park in Angeles City, Philippines.

“Friends, your contribution, small though it may seem, is unique and altogether yours.  Whatever it may be, it becomes that timeless trophy you invest daily”.

Warm Regards & May God Bless Us All,

Tony Guiao, Lead Member
HAUBATCH’71 USA

P.S.

My sincere appreciation to Remy Balleza for her unending support during and after the solicitation process.

If in the event there were benefactors who failed to receive this appreciation letter, I apologize.  Your gesture is well appreciated.

To all my generous batch mates,

Your generous donation to our deceased batch mates Laila & Eduardo was beyond my expectations, and I would like to express my gratitude by saying THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your generosity. I am sure their surviving families appreciates your donation as well. Ning's mission to deliver the funds of $500 each family was a success. Please see attached pictures sent by Ning. If you want to see their pictures, you can click the (photo) link after their name in the "In Memoriam" section of our website.
God bless you all and take care.

Dear Edith,

On Jan 12th upon your request, Soledad and I met with the wife (green shirt holding the envelope) and son (blue shirt) of the late EDUARDO BAUTISTA and handed over donation from the generous HAU BATCH 71 USA CHAPTER. Then we proceeded to Manibaug Porac residence of the late LAILA BENASA LIM and gave your donation to the husband (sleeveless green shirt) and daughter (blue shirt) of our deceased batchmate.
